Hemp is a cultivable plant, from the Cannabinaceae family. It has crossed time and peoples for its multiple uses and benefits. We find traces of its use by man since the Neolithic period. From that time on, it has been imported to all regions of the world. Starting with the first bible (Gutenberg) printed in hemp paper, through the ropes of Christopher’s ships, to the clothing of french “poilus”, its industrial use has crossed time. Known as industrial hemp, because of its difference from cannabis used for recreational purposes, it has almost no traces of THC.

HEMP: one of the major components of ASABIO’s products
In order to get the best from the forces of this plant, ASABIO products use exclusively European organic hemp, grown by farmers whose values include respect for nature. Its growth does not require any chemical additives, meaning that it does not contain any traces of pesticides, chemical fertilizers or other heavy metals. The properties of the oil resulting from the cold pressing of the seeds are numerous, in particular for its nutritive contribution and its use for the skin. Indeed, its seed oil contains highly beneficial natural components: unsaturated fatty acids, omegas, vitamins E, A, B1, B2, B6, proteins, and fiber in large quantities. In addition, hemp contains cannabinoids and terpenes, which interact directly with the endo-cannabinoid system.
